Sebright colours

I noticed in the new poultry nz standards there is a "Chamois" Sebright shown. Does anyone know how to create this coloured Sebright please? Or if there are any available in New Zealand?

thanks Kracka, I wondered if it was cross bred too, the SSH doesn't normally have a dropped wing, so I think it was just like that when I took the pic, I've had a close look and can't see any side sprigs, I haven't shown him at all due to the fact that when I got him he has some kind of gugling resp...

Hi there, I use one small drop (or alternatively wipe the syringe along their backs), for 3 week old chickens with no issues, make sure it's only one drop for them tho, then for older or 6 week old chickens I sometimes use two small drops, for bantams I use two drops, for larger breeds I use 2-3 dro...

sorry I'm in Ashburton, but my Dad is up in the Bay of Islands - Kerikeri in fact, and he has some, he got his originally off someone near there and they are very nice too! give him a call, B Greaney - keri keri, tell him his daughter told you to phone him.

we have 3 cats, and all leave the chickens alone, I make sure they are very very well fed first thing in the morning and have top ups of biscuits throughout the day, and the only time they have been anywhere near the new chickens which are out with their mum free ranging is if the mother leaves them...

I have an "appaloosa" type here, by accident, it's a gold laced wyandotte crossed with a silver spangled hamburg, hes a cockerell and huge but very very beautiful! I will see if Marina can post a pic of him, you can have him free if you would like him.... he could be your project.

Walnut combs on Araucanas?

this was very interesting reading for me, I have a black Araucana I was going to get "dealt" to due to his comb, but it may be a "walnut" comb afer reading this! It has fallen over a bit though,what colour are the lobes meant to be on a Black Araucana please?

Oxford Old English Game - North Island breeders?

does anyone know if there are any breeders in the north Island of Oxford OEG full size pls? I have someone who has bought one of mine but is thinking it may be cost prohibitive to get it over the ditch. He can't find anyone up north whpo breeds them though and I don't know of anyone?

that's intersting about the feathers twisting Kracka, I will keep an eye out for that as I have been putting the drops anywhere on their back or on the back of their necks inthe dark and with a torch like you do. I'm having a bit of an issue trying to totally eradicate these little baby lice, i thou...
